Invisalign® is a set of custom, clear aligners that are typically changed every 1-2 weeks for 6-18 months (treatment times vary depending on the severity of your case). The clear aligners move and align your teeth to help give you the beautiful smile you’ve been dreaming about.
How is Invisalign® different from traditional metal braces?
Invisalign® requires very minor life changes, unlike traditional metal braces. With Invisalign® it is easy to brush, floss, and eat because the trays can be taken in and out. In addition, the clear aligners are less prone to damage than metal brackets with wires. Because they are removable, you can eat sticky, crunchy foods without worrying. Invisalign® clear aligners also keep you from having embarrassing metal brackets (no more “Brace Face!” jokes) and tend to be more comfortable than traditional metal braces. Metal brackets and wires can irritate the inside of your mouth, but Invisalign® aligners are clear, smooth, and easy to adjust to.
